Dear Parents,
On Tuesday, July 28, the Pioneers will depart for an exciting overnight trip to Club Getaway in Kent, Connecticut.
The fee helps cover a portion of the transportation, accommodations, meals and activity costs.
About Club Getaway
Club Getaway is a fully equipped campground offering a memorable overnight experience with comfortable accommodations and a wide variety of exciting outdoor activities.
Campers will travel by comfortable chartered bus and will be led by Mr. Baratz, together with our dedicated CGI staff. Club Getaway’s trained staff will lead and supervise the scheduled activities throughout the trip.
Campers will sleep in air-conditioned cabins equipped with bathrooms, showers and beds. Sheets, pillows and comforters are provided. All meals will be catered kosher and properly supervised.
Camp Gan Israel has visited Club Getaway many times, and it is always a camper favorite!

Important Information
- All meals and snacks will be provided.
- Campers will be supervised at all times by CGI staff and Club Getaway personnel.
- Electronics may only be used during travel time. Devices will be collected upon arrival at Club Getaway.
- Cell phones are not permitted. To reach your child, please call the CGI camp line at 856-438-0607.
- Campers will be given an opportunity to call home in the evening using a staff phone.
Packing List
Please pack all belongings in a clearly labeled bag. Every individual item should also be labeled with your child’s name.
